Over the past few years, I have been on a leave of absence from the sales and marketing workforce, dedicating my time to being a full-time caregiver for my mother while also bartending 3-4 nights a week in order to keep our roof over our heads. After the passing of my father in July of 2019, my mother was diagnosed with an accelerated form of dementia, necessitating my full attention and care.
This challenging period demanded resilience, patience, and organizational skills as I took on the responsibility of managing her care and well-being. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been there for my mother, and I believe the lessons learned during this time have equipped me with a unique set of qualities that will benefit a sales and marketing role.
Unfortunately, my mother passed away in July, and while the loss has been profound, it has also granted me the opportunity to refocus on my professional pursuits. I am eager to re-enter the workforce and bring the dedication, adaptability, empathy, and interpersonal skills honed during my caregiving experience to a dynamic sales and marketing role.
I am excited about the future and picking up where I left off in my successful career thus far. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my skills align with the needs of your organization.
Thank you for your consideration.
